Is it not easier to use the A15 and M180?

If you lived in perhaps Thorne or stainy then perhaps yes. If going that way I’d go a little further down the 180 and take the Humberside airport junction. then the shortcut down the side of the airport to Caistor. Then “caistor high st “ over the wolds to horncastle. A very nice drive and one favoured by motorcyclists.

Just checked Lincolnshire council website. The road works between Byards Leap and Holdingham roundabaout are ongoing till 15 July. There are night time closures from 7pm. This should not affect anyone coming to the game from that direction as they should be in Boston area well before the road is closed. Something to be aware of for the return trip though.

Done a run to Caistor Lakes a few times, hardly any traffic on the road between Brigg and Caistor

Yes there is. Not sure if it’s open for away supporters. Normally for home supporters. There is parking on the estate opposite the ground or some street parking at wyberton. 10-15 min walk to ground

Naming the trialists is a new one. Kind of takes the fun out of the annual game of trialist guess who though. Boo!

Deji Sotona anyone know anything about him? Wikipedia says he's fast but not played much.

20 year old wide forward, released from Burnley apparently.

Rory Watson seems weird on paper, played 80-odd games over 5 years at Scunny and very little league football anywhere else. 27 so not a young kid either.

Drawing 1-1 Ironside

18' - GOOOAAALLLLL ROVERS!!

Joe Ironside finds the net for the first time in Rovers colours!

He drifted towards the front post to meet a superb cross from Harrison Biggins, catching the ball on the volley with the sidefoot. Cameron Gregory made the initial save but Ironside collected the follow-up and slotted the ball home.

That’s both strikers up and running - always good to see that early doors.
