For a lad like him going out on loan to play his first full season, I'd take comments from Wolves fans with a pinch of salt.

We've heard it all before when we've signed "highly rated" young players like this on loan. Some turned out to be good but many more of them had very little impact.

Hopefully he's one of the good ones, but until we get to see see him play a bit I can't really comment.

Probably enough decent first time loanees over the years that we can have some hope though. Herbie Kane, Cameron John, David Wheater, Ethan Galbraith.

Difference is are we relying on him to be 1st choice or part of a squad. This year it looks like part of a squad. If he’s good great if not he’s just a option.

It’s not a Cukur signing where he is going to be critical to our success, or lack of.

Looking at who we have signed, then in addition to Griffiths and Lavery being moved on, there must be loans for Kuleya, Ravenhill and either Faulkner or Long depending on whether he goes for 4 or 5 at back, and Bottomley.

Kuleya, Ravenhill, Goodwin, Faulkner and  Bottomley were all earmarked for loans, I can see Long and possibly Close being moved on if possible

Sounds like a 4-3-3 formation is his preferred one.
I am sure unlike DS he will be flexible and change things to suit either the opposition or the state of the game.

If he does go for 2 centre backs, then that is 2 from Wood, Anderson, Olowu, Faulkner and Long. At least 1 if not 2 of those likely to go out on loan in that scenario. Will be tough having to bench 1 of those first 3 absent any injury.
