He really did transform the place. It shows what can be done by brilliant, hard-working people whose first aim is the improvement of society.

Iberian, you really are a strange person.
If you read the thread back you will see that I have passed a favourable comment on Mr Kerslake.
I hadn’t heard of him before this thread began so I looked him up.
He does appear to have been a fine and upstanding person and I have acknowledged that.
Also, I haven’t steamed in and attacked bst at all, merely responded without malice to what he wrote in the OP.
Even Tommy Toes in his early posts on this thread appeared to have thought bst meant the cabinet ministers in the current government.
The way the OP is written it isn’t disingenuous to think that is what bst meant.
Perhaps he wrote it in such a way to invite confusion.
