Still won’t be having a pint at the ground then although hopefully it will bring more revenue

Sounds like we'll have something resembling a professional operation going on the concourses next season. Good stuff.

I'd rather suck the bar rag dry than drink Carling, mind.

Quite happy with that. Looking forward to seeing quite a few new things on August 5th if not before.

Personally I'm not a fan of madri and certainly don't want to pay £5 for it either. I actually don't mind carling so that would be my choice though I'll wait to see price list before.

Hope they have stones has donnywolf has mentioned.

That’s me not buying a drink in ground then, £5 for a pint no chance, think I’ll stick to black bull.

In most pubs now premium beers are over £5, so they're not fleecing us by any means.

Always enjoy the prematch vibe in the BVB. Then only walking 10 yards to the turnstile.

Never really got this mentality of  I’d rather drink in crap pub for cheaper beer. To me if the surroundings and atmosphere is right i dont mind paying a bit more. My best experience was a Spurs v AC Milan this year. Probably the best ground experience i will ever have and suprised it was only £6 a pint. Football was awful mind

Depends on what is deemed as a crap pub. Everyone will have a different view on what they like. I like a wetherspoons (red lion - cheap) but also don't mind wool Market where beer is a bit overpriced. I also like a real ale pub. You can get fancy pubs that have premium beers at expensive  cost but crap atmosphere.

I’m jealous!! We only ever go to eat there nowadays, usually a Friday night, so I got one of those PerfectDraft beer machines which I love and it saves me a fortune.

Just to expand my reply #6. Those are the Beers they have in their range not necessarily what they will have on at Eco

Thorney ... Have you tried Don Valley Brewery Tap out at Sandtoft just before Sandtoft Airport ?

It's where they actually brew their Beers but they have a very "flash" building which opens at weekends and sells loads of their Beers at knock down prices. Card only

You do know that madri is literally coors with a it more ABV? £5 is scandalous, it’s all in the marketing

£5 is not scandalous (if that is the price). The average price of a pint is now over £4.50 and it’s obviously going to be more in a sporting venue.

At my local in Bradford it’s £3:60 for a pint of hand pulled whichever guest beer you choose. Lager is a bit dearer but I never drink it.
Last night at St. George’s Hall in the city centre it was £17:70 for two pints of San Miguel and a glass of Merlot.
It’s always dearer at venues, that’s why I usually walk to the Cheswold pre match for a couple of pints of Doom bar.
It also gets me a couple of thousand extra steps in as well.

Nowt wrong with Carling. Coors light is probably the most disgusting going. Whatever they put in it to make it light is horrible.

At a gig the other week it was £7 a pint.
£6 a pint at Askern festival last week until they dropped it to £5 later on.
It’s the going rate isn’t it? Not worth moaning about.

The negative is it’s carling which is shite, Madri is ok.
