Added time.

What’s our view on Grant’s opinion that the new approach to added time means the team will effectively be playing many more games?

I don’t agree. I think that it means we’re getting a full 90 minutes of football…..what they train for. The added time isn’t “extra time” ……it’s time lost to deliberate time-wasting. When it’s going on, the game isn’t…..the players are static, relaxing, not expending energy, taking a breather etc.

I welcome it.

I only welcome it if we need to get back into the game, to get a win or a point.

On the other foot i absolutely hate it if we are winning or drawing and lose like we did at Rotherham that time!

Think that’ll be most fans views to be honest haha

They should allow seven substitutions to balance this out .

Basically for years they’ve not been playing a full games worth and now they are.

In L2 the ball is out for throw ins and goal kicks so often that all the players have plenty of recovery time.

We’ve a bigger squad (hopefully better too) than recent years so it should be to our advantage if we use our bench well
