Only positive today. The lad has something. Id start him with Joe and ditch the 433 the wingers are not effective enough.

Him and Sotona look like they’re the only two capable of creating anything.

Wasn’t impressed with his brief performance on Tuesday, but had something about him today

Both seem to have that knack of looking like they're about to lose the ball, but continuing to retain possession.

I think a lot of it is athleticism, that most of the other players lack.

Looked a better midfielder than the others and it’s not even his position.

He was the only player who actually wanted to get on the ball and pick out a forward pass. Did well.

YES! Thought exactly the same get him in the middle breaking things up and hurling himself forward when the opportunity arises

My original comment didn't go through correctly.

Was Faals loan not extended due to restrictions in place? Was there a loan fee we couldn't pay due to the restrictions.

Makes you wonder

But since he went back we’ve signed four players on loan from other clubs

That's not the question or the point, it was potentially over a loan fee. Maybe not but the potential is there for sure.

That would make GM a liar according to his account of what happened. Personally,I can’t see him telling lies about a situation like this. He seems honest in his interviews.

I wouldn't want to imply that but wonder if the restrictions had any effect on this (maybe even beyond Grants knowledge at the time)
