There seems to be a debate in the media now about which is the best tea. Yorkshire tea seems to score very highly and there's no doubt Taylor's of Harrogate know their tea.
I like Yorkshire tea but I find it mashes very quickly and can rapidly become a very strong builders brew.
For what it's worth , I recommend Sri Lankan black tea. Black tea is the basis of the English breakfast tea we all know and love.
The Sri Lankan hill country has the ideal climate for growing black tea. My recommendation is try pure Sri Lankan, it has a freshness blended black teas can't match and these days you can find it in the big supermarkets.

Our lass always used to get what them chimps drink but then she started getting Yorkshire tea, which is supposed to suit Yorkshire water, although I don't think Yorkshire water is the same in all areas.
I've just started having Tetley Green tea, which is quite tasty.

I used to love Captain Scott's Strong Blend tea from Tesco until they stopped making it. The nearest to it I've found is Asda Extra Strong. It's OK but nowhere near as good as the Scott's Blend.

If you drink decaf tea and coffee it can count as part of your water intake.
I drink ten 150mL. glasses of a day and six cups of decaf tea which takes me over the two litre mark for water.

I used to get this and a darjeeling from the health food shops. And then I got hold of a tea plant. The fresh green tea from this is incredible.
