Are we expecting to see him anytime this side of the new year??

I thought a while back he was meant to be near to a return.
But just listened to grants post match interview and he was asked about any possible returns within the coming week and he said No, apart from Joe olowu the rest are operations.

Haven't missed him. Nixon has improved loads since first joining.

It’s another rovers treatment room classic.

On a positive note it feels like Maxwell came back quicker than expected. That could be me naturally assuming any injury to a rovers player is season ending

GM said on Thursday in his pre match that Sterry is probably a couple of weeks away from joining in with the squad in training.

I swear he said that a few weeks ago though

I have to say though the description of torn muscle ligaments in a toe or whatever and out for over 4 months is absolutely embarrassing and says alot about the modern footballer..  4 months for a poorly toe.... unbelievable

I had a damaged tendon in my thumb earlier this year. Couldn't write. Couldn't open a door handle. Couldn't do up shirt buttons.

If Sterry has anything similar in his toe, he won't be able to play professional football.

GM said he’s not expecting anyone back as everyone is recovering from operations, not sure if he’d forgotten about Sterry

How anyone other than Kyle Walker could displace Tom Nixon would baffle me.

Thank you for your consult, Doctor York-Exile. I'll stick to qualified medics, if that's OK.

Should be making a serious inquiry about trying to get Tom in on a permanent, cracking player with very good development potential.
