Credit where it’s due we score from a short corner routine.

Not sure how their lad was so free in behind Anderson

Because Wood was massively out of position, Olowu was covering the run that the player that provided the assist was making, that player checked his run and received the ball, Anderson was covering No. 14 and Wood for some reason decided he wanted to be in midfield, once the lad was clear Wood was never going to catch him, he’s just too slow

Wood and Bailey both challenged for a ball in the centre circle but lost out leaving a big gap behind with Wood not quick enough to get back.

Usain Bolt wouldn’t have been able to get back in that situation.
To be fair to Colchester, the ball played to the scorer was fantastic, had we done that it would have been acclaimed on here.
However, a similar thing had happened a few minutes before when the striker was left all alone on the edge of the box with both Wood and Anderson nowhere near him but Jones made a good save.

But without the pen:

Weird to leave it out!

The Pen is on there

Yes it is now but it wasn’t last night when albie first posted that link.
Very strange.
