Not much in that, the quotes from Corberan are typical of a manager talking about a loan player who's doing well. Just a fan site trying to get a few clicks methinks.

Pure speculation but no doubt it's inevitable, particularly the closer we get to  the January window opening.

“With Josh Maja back fit and Daryl Dike also on his way back after a period out through injury, it's likely that Faal will be permitted to continue at the Keepmoat Stadium and carry on developing.”

Stevenage’s success shows that L1 isn’t really much better than L2 at present.

He will stay.
Why would you deny a young kid the experience he is clearly loving.
League one next year and he’s still developing at a good rate.

He's not ready for the championship but I can see a L1 club making a bid for him in Jan.

Just the type of player Fergie would invest 500k on now, expecting a return of many millions in a couple of years.

Hope we keep him been one of our best players over the last 2 months. Best loan signing since probably Wilks

He's not ready for league 1 yet either, he suits playing with Ironside very well, not sure how he'd fair in other styles or formations.  He needs a full season here IMO.

Good for us to start seeing loanees doing well again though.  I thought Roberts would be the star based on pre season yet it's been quite the opposite.

Not a chance West Brom let him leave, especially not for anywhere near 500k with the potential he has.

With his unexplored potential, I would imagine Mo will want to hang on to his WBA career as long as possible. No idea how long he'll have left on his contract, but I guess he'll hope to extend on improved terns and what better way of doing that, than continue to score goals for us and ideally achieve something.

I think there’s a fair chance he moves loan in January. I never think it’s a good thing for the player. Too often they are flying, move up a level, then waste the second half of the season. From the clubs perspective they will want to test him in L1 to see how good he actually is. Could save them a few quid in giving him a new contract when really he’s not good enough for them.

i can't remember it happening since

On 1 July, Bamford rejoined MK Dons on loan until 5 January 2014.[22] Bamford scored 14 league goals in 23 appearances for MK Dons during this six-month period, and thus was the subject of speculation that he would be sent on loan to a club at a higher level. On 31 December, Karl Robinson confirmed that Bamford would not be returning to MK Dons after his loan deal expired.[23] His new club was later announced as Derby County. He made his last appearance for Milton Keynes on 4 January 2014, where he scored his 17th goal of the season in the closing stages of a 3–3 draw against the holders Wigan Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup.[24]

As the corner for the 3rd Notts goal was taken - three times he pushed the defender out of the way with both hands - his confidence at the moment is 11/10 and the way he can "place" a cushion header is the killer

Losing Mo would be significant- the lack of midfield creativity is currently being masked by the fact that he and Joe are doing most of the creating as well as scoring.

The lack of midfield creativity has been staring us in the face all season(and for a few before as well)

With the players we currently have we really need that midfield enforcer to hold the middle of the park and allow Close and Westbrooke to play further forward and not have to do the donkey work, their style of play is based on them pushing forward not sitting back. if we had that combative and commanding holding player im sure the percentage of chances created should multiply.

Pretty sure the loan rules have changed since we've gone to half season or season long loans.

Having a season long loan agreement means something. Had WBA wanted to see how he went for the first half season with a view to trying him at a higher level, they could simply have just restricted the loan to a half season.

Of course, we can't be sure of the finer detail but I very much doubt WBA will break the agreement just to send him out on another loan. Similarly, the idea is to give all parties time to develop the player by them settling into the fabric of the club etc, and not be subject to being gazumped by another club half way through.

As said before though, yes there is a review mid term, where if it's not working out for whatever reason, then both clubs can agree to terminate early (Roberts and Marsh could fall into this category)

In the Whiteman days, you could loan players on shorter terms, and with him, we reached a point where the Blades pretty much said they wouldn't extend his loan so if you want to keep him then make us an offer.

These things are not done just by gentleman's agreements between clubs, the right paperwork has to be lodged with the EFL to transfer the registration between clubs for the agreed period.

What if another club wanted to buy Mo from WBA in January? Well that's another ball game and very much depends on how WBA value him and his development. I would guess they would see more potential value in him continuing with his loan with us. If they were to consider selling him then Mo would have to be informed and he/his agent would have to consider it but, they would have to terminate the loan first.

Plus, through chats with GB in the past, we often work in a first option clause in the loan so if, during or at the end of the loan, if the parent club are willing to sell (depending on valuation of course) we get first dibs. (And of course if the player is willing too)

Tied up doing a good impression of a capable centre half.

West Brom would want at least £1m for him if he is to be sold in the near future which I can’t see happening.

He’s 20 year old scoring for fun in league 2 and has everything u want in a centre forward. West Brom will know this and will know he has the potential to play at their level if not higher.

Looked like Mo was saying goodbye to the south stand after the game.

Hopefully not the case but strange if not.

Apart from his shot that hit the post first half he looked a bit ‘lost’ to me today.

He might have had an easy goal on the break in the first half had Biggins squared to him instead of giving it to Molly.

Hopefully it's just because he hasn't got told we want to keep him for the season he was giving that reception just in case it was his last game.

Mo and Joe have done that celebration several times this season.
It isn’t unusual at all.
