I didn't really get that impression. He's a quiet West Country boy who's not that comfortable in front of the mic. Maybe a couple of one word answers but better than waffling. When asked about his situation, he batted this off as, like many, leaves this sort of stuff to his agent.

Feels like he’s been sent to do the media duties as a punishment and he’s treating it with the same respect,

I suspect and this is based on my opinion only, things don’t seem to be so rosey for him maybe tyke can elaborate, but I would guess based on this and past interviews of him that his days at Barnsley are numbered.

If we were to get him on loan, which I don't think we will, I would get Copps back because the interplay between the pair was absolutely briliant, but time moves on.

It's clear he wants to play on the Championship and from that interview you'd probably think he has had some sort of interest. He ain't coming to League 2.

Yeah I liked Nelson, he wasn’t faultless but he would bring some much needed composure at the back
