He is prone to switching off. Too many mistakes in him. Other than that he is superb.

I don't know why people are even talking about players that have been part of the abortion of the last 2 seasons. They need clearing out, the lot of them.

Terry's not taken over the reins for no reason. IMO, he'll know that a lot of recruitment's going to be needed in the next 2 windows.
Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

When the water's absolutely rancid, I don't think it makes much difference.

There's no-one from this lot I'd miss, other than Ironside and Bailey. If we want promotion, we need quality players.

More like:”If we want to avoid relegation, we need quality players.”

I’ve defended Olowu many times, as I try to do with all our players.

But basically he is not good enough. He has to go.

You could quite possibly get your wish this window but he’ll finish up at a bigger club than ours!

Olowu has many good attributes but makes so many errors he is a liability, even with better players he will find it hard to lose them traits

I would be very pleased to see him go asap.
The 4th goal v Morcambe shows he has the heart of a pea.
Watching him stand and stare at opposing strikers heading crosses into our net or making pathetic half attempts to head away a cross when he actually turns away and faces his own goal has become sickening to watch.

What’s he good at… he’s quick and can head a ball that’s aimed down the middle straight to him with no one challenging. Also good at after match celebrations after his positive contribution has been pretty much nil.

It’s Anderson that covers for Joseph not the other way around

What's Joe Wright up to? Anderson was at his best when he played with him

Playing for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League.

Only managed to play more than half of league games twice in his six seasons with us.

Theres a player in there in my opinion, he’s distracted having to cover for Anderson all the time

Absolutely 100%

Cook's movement for their first goal is identical to most of his goals - why does Tom chase him around when all he has to do is head for the 6 yard box corner and wait for him ?? - and then when he does go up for it it's all too powder puff.

Contrast Tom with their No 5 ??

I think it was their No.6 who when Andy Cook rose unchallenged at the back post to score their first bent down to Anderson on the floor & shouted “Call yourself a defender? You were mugged good & proper. Anyway, a quiet Christmas at home with the family this year or are you going away for the festivities?”.

Allegedly.

I was right in line with that altercation, Cook totally outfoxed Anderson. Anderson pulled Cooks’ shirt over his face, Cook complained to the ref and he had a word, the ball came in, Cook ran around the back of a Bradford player being marked by a Rovers player, Anderson fell over trying to get to Cook and Cook was totally unmarked.

This isn't intended to be a hate on Joe thread, more of a question really. I personally think he suffers from a lack of positioning and consistency in decision making but he has lots of great attributes. Do you think he would be better at full back? He'd be good physically and has a lot of pace and his mistakes or lapses in concentration would be less costly to the team in my opinion.

Changed my mind... Feel free to lambast him!! Shocking!!!

He can go f**k for me. Ever since I saw him bottle a 50/50 tackle against Peterborough I thought then that he should never wear the shirt again.

I've been making this point for nearly three seasons now. We nearly ALWAYS concede in league games and hardly ever manage a clean sheet. This season it is almost 90pc of league games in which we concede and last two season before were around that level. If we concede then we have to score to get at least a point, and we haven't been shit hot in that area either. We've had the same central defensive unit for those three seasons and it hasn't improved even as we have got relegated and dropped down to nominally an easier level.

Wood I assume was seen to be a short term fix but he's clearly not going to be the answer. We managed with Jones and McCombe to find what was a relatively cheap pair who could actually defend, at short notice. And that was in League One. Is it really that hard? We are not looking for ball playing John Stones clones. Just two players who can work together and defend.

so wot was his excuse for the 2nd goal as he should of been 100% favourit to win that challange

Anderson’s inability to deal with a challenge he was favourite for and then Lawlors decision not to come and smother the ball preceded that, you are blaming Olowu for two previous mistakes, having said that Olowu should have been more switched on in that moment

I like Olowu but it’s a bit like JT, he never seems to have learnt composure and his decision making is awful. Unless and until he does I don’t see him getting much further in the game.

Seems to be a few rumblings on Twitter that Olowu is off to Wigan.

If it is on Twitter then it is almost certainly doubtful but even if remotely true, he has 18 months left on his deal so they will presumably have to pay a fee for him. Not sure that feels realistic in the current situation. Could be wrong.

I had heard the same thing last week, so it’s not something that’s just popped up today.

You look at his desire on that second goal and he wouldn’t be the first player to coast and give up ahead of a move.
