Team Spirit.....
« on December 29, 2023, 11:27:37 pm by Ryaldinhio »
Did anyone else feel the celebration after Ironside goal was some what muted? Also noted that Faal was 2 yards away and supposedly striking up a partnership and hardly celebrated.

Seemed a bit strange for a team that has just lost 3 on bounce equalising at the 2nd in the league. I expected them to be bouncing!

Hopefully nothing and maybe just relief/fatigue.

Think it might have been a bit of a mildly sarcastic celebration from Ironside, maybe due to the understandable critisism of the team lately, and think Faal seeing Ironside's celebration, was just not sure what to do at first and followed suit,I noted when Faal turned around he did a two fist clench celebration,Ive no doubt they still pleased as punch we have scored.

I suppose if a lot of the same people were shouting at you to f**k off and singing “you’re not fit to wear the shirt” on Tuesday, you might just do the nearest thing to sticking two fingers up at them when you score on Friday.

Fair play to him, he can do what he wants if he keeps playing like he did tonight.

I could understand them not celebrating with the fans if that's the case but should be galvanised with each other!

Think it was just relief more than anything after the last few performances, think there is actually a good team spirit at the club atm.

Faal was trying to get the crowd going aswell when we got a corner in the second half.

If Mansfield had got a winner I doubt there would have been any abuse at the end of the game as the performance was way above what we saw v Notts
