I think we ought to drop the ‘project’ word. Wasn’t it Schofield who used it regularly?
Excellent interview as ever, honest & insightful. Just one observation, really hope the staff & players realise that we as supporters, are, in the main, fully behind their efforts to turn our season & future around. Think the comments at Notts County (by a small percentage of our supporters), was the culmination of pure frustration with what's been witnessed in the last 2 to 3 years, coupled with the hope & expectation of a far better performance than what we witnessed. It shouldn't distance the players & management from the supporters, as Grant has said this is a project, we should all stick together through it, management, staff, players, & supporters.

Whether you think it was warranted or not, the fans (myself included) who chanted “you’re not fit to wear the shirt” at the end of the game are well within their rights to do so if they feel it to be true. That run of 3 games was abysmal and I don’t encourage everyone to chant that if they don’t see fit but anyone applauding them off the pitch at Notts County is basically accepting absolute dross. Those same fans that led those chants will have been the same ones at Mansfield and at home to MK Dons who stayed behind and applauded the lads off after 2 fantastic performances, where their effort and endeavour was clear to see. We don’t mind losing games if there is a clear willingness to run and leave everything on the pitch at the end. The lads have responded and they deserve all the credit that they have been given in the past week. Just like they deserved every bit of criticism they received after conceding 5 at home to Morecambe and registering 19% possession in a league 2 fixture. Onto Harrogate!

Well, there's good news and bad news coming from McCanns post match. Both Nixon and Faal are staying to fulfill their season loans but the injury curse has struck again (this time not on our territory) Louis Marsh was set to rejoin us yesterday but has injured his knee in a training session with the Blades! Still to be assessed whether it's bad enough to stop him coming back. We're still looking at other options though.

I think Sterry has looked very good these last few weeks

Of course you’re not having him. You claimed he pretends to be injured and won’t change your view now.
I think there were a lot worse than him today.
