I will always remember a visit to an aircraft museum in Florida where an American gave a talk on the Korean War he proudly boasted that the Americans shot down 90% of the communist aircraft and the British only 10% a English voice piped up from the back “ yea we used up all our bullets while waiting for you lot in the previous war”.
