We euthanise players when they get a knock?Having a “knock” and being out for a season and a half are very different things. How’s about a long term injury clause written into contracts?

As far as I’m away the club doesn’t choose the consultants, there are certain ones they have to use.
The surgeon literally has responsibility for the player for a few hours tops before the operation, then the operation, and then a few follow up sessions. The physio team at the club handling rehab have him for months on end. It's not hard to see where the risk sits.
Don’t we insure the players in case of injury? Or is that just for treatment and doesn’t cover their wages when we get nothing out of them? Our premiums would be ridiculous to be fair
I remember Miller being subbed in the Hull game and then sitting on the bench with an ice pack on his knee.So was then amazed to see him starting the Newport game four days later - and playing the best part of an hour. After which we haven't seen him again. Presumably he trained in the intervening period too? It's not only the medical staff who have questions to answer about how injured players are treated.
