It is you who is in denial my friend - the UK is a free democratic country and you can peddle all the guff that you do without fear of censure.

Can you imagine the risk you would run in protesting against the governments in Russia, North Korea and Iran?

So you don't know anything else about Navalny - his policies, his desires, his backing, his allies? Yet you feel that by throwing in the soma words "free democratic", that means your whole argument is safe and cosy, like a trusted uncle?

I'm guessing that Russia's line is going to be that Navalny died from a clot after taking the COVID vaccine.

It'll be far more efficient for their bot farms to combine the two.

Truly, anyone who still supports Trump does so in the full and certain knowledge that the man is a moral cesspit. https://twitter.com/JimmySecUK/status/1759594021884748248

Not a word of criticism about Putin.

Not a word of sorrow about the man's death.

Just using this to campaign and whine about his own prosecutions.

He is so far beyond disgusting, there aren't words to even start to encompass it.

I’m glad you brought this up. What an absolute helmet he is.

Rich man is surprised a strong currency can buy you lots of stuff in a poor country. Wow.

The American right seem to prefer Putin and Russia because they are obsessed with anything “anti-woke” to the point they would support their enemy. The global world order would fall but at least there’d be no big pharma or drag queens.

For the fringe right and left, the west is an evil imperial force that cannot be trusted. But they’ll trust a dictator who sends his political and journalistic opponents to jail instead.

I thought this was a good piece by David Cameron:

https://thehill.com/opinion/international/4465907-david-cameron-pass-ukraine-funding-for-the-sake-of-global-security/

There were Americans in the 1940s who didn’t want to get involved in WW2 let’s not forget.

That's an excellent article from Cameron. It's reassuring to know the UK is so steadfast on this most important of issues. Thank you for sharing.

Agree 100% - well done Cameron.

I have to say, despite lingering misgivings about the man, that is an excellent article

Agreed. It is exactly what you want to hear from the UK Foreign Secretary.

All that passion about "democracy" yet no one has anything to say about Navalny's allegiances, funding, policies. Interesting.

If he was killed that is still appalling, but there is no evidence as yet. Meanwhile, at least show some no use and know who he is

Do they have any relevance to the manner of his death, however it happened?

Yes.

If you are averse to context, choosing to tie a side issue to this thread to the bounds of your personal dictate, you can make that plea and ignore all else anyone says.

His politacal views are the side issue. That you introduced for no readily apparent reason.
