To win tomorrow night, no logical reason apart from I’m one of those who’s got money on a top half finish !!

Think we need as many draws as possible from the other teams. Better they all drop 2 points

Would you like to borrow a fully working (though with a slightly melted back) Sinclair Spectrum computer (one careful owner, low mileage) Draytonian?

Thanks for the offer, but I’ll stick to my method of picking teams after  8 or 9 pints !!

I do that too but there are too many holes around the board so I've had to stop

So the win we were ‘robbed’ of against Colchester due to the game being postponed would have had us sat in 16th position this morning with 52 points (according to the correct results made by my Sinclair Spectrum six games ago) so I decided to fire up the old girl again last night (the computer not Mrs C) & see what she came up with, (once I had fed all relevant data in like endeavour, self belief, wind speed etc) starting with the Crawley game (I know the Sinclair Spectrum had originally forecast a draw there but I input the ‘new data’ nonetheless).

This is what ‘she spat out’ with the opposition team’s league standings as of today.

Crawley (7th) A - D 1 pt.

Wrexham (3rd) H - W 3pts.

Morecombe (12th) A - W 3pts.

Walsall (10th) H - D 1pt.

Accrington (16th) H - W 3pts.

Barrow (6th) H - W 3pts.

Colchester (22nd) A - W 3pts.

Gillingham (8th) A - D 1 pt.

That would leave us with a season tally of 67 points. Enough I believe to secure us a top ten finish.

Now who would bet against an old computer that has notched up six out of six (should have been 7/7 but for Colchester)?

Those are the final results of the East Riding of Yorkshire judges (judge).
