Where's tyke1962?
« on February 26, 2024, 02:26:07 pm by Bentley Bullet »
He hasn't been active for a few weeks. It was a refreshing change to hear such honest, well-balanced views from a lifetime Labour supporter, and that on its own is a rare treat on the forum.

Come back Tyke!

Come back Tyke!

He’s joined the Conservative Party

Actually he’s just been kicked out of the Conservative Party, he’s Lee Anderson

Just had a fortnight in Lanzarote , got back on Saturday .

I make a point of not doing the internet on holiday and having caught up with the news from home yesterday concerning the shenanigans that went off in parliament I think it's best I keep my thoughts to myself whilst still in holiday mode so to speak .

I'll soon be making my opinions known once I return to reality .

Welcome back, Tyke. Nothing's changed much. The 2 main political parties are both still shite, but at least the Rovers are doing much better.

Thank you Steve , Rovers on a good run at the moment and about time too and hopefully next season you can get make a push for promotion .

Interesting reading the fall out from last weeks Parliamentary debacle .

I wouldn't expect anything less than the Tories to not actually do anything other than to implode even further .

Labour have managed to kick a can further down the road but it will catch up with them eventually , it always does , that far up their own asses looking at Opinion Polls there so far out of touch to realise the enormity of last weeks events .

Riddle me this one though Steve .

Since when did extremism and extremists have the right to intimidate our democracy ?

I’ve seen a video of Anneliese Dodds getting harassed on the street.

“Anneliese Dodds you can’t hide, you support genocide”.

Hopefully no one comes after her for perceived vengeance.

It was probably something bigger than this that prompted Starmer’s actions. Unless you seriously believe Hoyle lied about meeting the police. But the conspiratorial narrative is that Starmer is paid for by Israel - even Corbyn’s wife is pushing this line https://x.com/lauraalvarezjc/status/1761170060016509385?s=46

As Anna Firth mentions in her piece here, David Amass was murdered because of the way he voted on Syria.

https://www.annafirth.org.uk/news/nobody-wants-admit-scale-islamist-extremist-threat-our-democracy

But the Tory’s loud-mouthed midwit has made all this about him instead.

And before anyone pipes up at me saying maybe they deserve intimidation again, both I and many of these MPs support a two-state solution.

That Twitter thread. Shows how detached from the truth the Far Left can be.

1) Starmer says he met with a number of national leaders.

2) First contributir says Starmer said he met with and was influenced by Netamyahu.

3) Corbyn's wife then interprets that as Starmer taking orders from Israel.

All while the original words are there for anyone to listen to.

Exactly tyke, but as you brought it into the conversation have you been calling it out?

''Barnsley ‘breeding ground’ for racist views, report finds'' (28/08/20)

''DECLINE and deprivation in Barnsley have made the town a breeding ground for far-right views, according to a new report.

The Hope Not Hate charitable trust report - part of the think tank’s ‘Hopeful Towns’ project - centres on how feelings of loss or rapid change, as well as economic decline and fewer opportunities, can create ‘pockets of hostility’.

Researchers believe tackling these issues can make areas more optimistic and resilient in the face of divisive narratives peddled by far-right groups - who they note ‘take root where hope is lost... offering simple answers to complex problems in order to stir up hate and division’''

tyke, the only difference of course is I call it out, you attack the very organisation that is trying to help you and your community out of a hole, have you found the proof of police investigations into Hope not Hate yet? I expect it is another one of them figments.
