I believe BB and Wolfie once shared this position. It was much harder then, because the kit included tam o' shanters.

No electric washers either, just a peggy tub and rubbing  board.  Rumour has it Steve was in charge of the ponger.

Sometimes known as a fart in a spacesuit perhaps.

Educating cheeky kids, it was like an inverted colander on the end of a brush handle, no bloody spin washers then, hot water clothes and soap suds in the tub and you thrust the ponger in up and down to give the grime a good thrashing and stir it all around, any dirty stains and collars of shirts out onto the board and a good scrubbing with soap and a stiff wash hand brush, then if you were posh through the ringer.
Don't get me on about flat irons on the stand the open fire, when men were men and women knew their place.  Just a minute I have got to hoover up.

I always thought Selby had a sense of humour in how he appreciated and defended certain players but this post proves he does have an actual sense of humour :-]]
