Just on way to catch coach at Carcroft.
Massive game this one ( aren’t they all )
3 points today and we really can start believing in the impossible.

Come on Rovers let’s keep this going for as long as possible.  :)

I've just sorted us some snap (tight Yorkshire bloke thing) and will be setting off in about 45 minutes.
Even though our numbers aren't that great today I'm really looking forward to this.
Hopefully the Viking raid will return up North with 3 points

Will be setting off at 11ish from my spot in south London. Buzzing for this. Another localish one for me where I drag my mates along who haven’t seen a win with me in about 10 years yet they keep coming for some reason! Got a feeling today might be that day to break that barren run.

Brilliant performance and result today. Much has been made at times of the away form, and the form/league position of our opponents at the time we've played them this season. We've made good strides on that in recent weeks. Beaten some decent/in-form teams home and away, including the form side in the division today, with 10 men. Well in Rovers.

Only three teams in the league with four wins in a row just now, Arsenal, Lincoln and Rovers.

We made Crawley look very ordinary.
Should have won 4-1
We missed 2 sitters before clinching it in the 98th min.
They missed one but it was a brilliant save by LT
Fantastic performance and massive statement today.
Richard Wood was a colossus today m.o.m without question imo
But everyone played well.

Can the impossible actually happen.
We are 8 points behind 7th place Gillingham with 2 games in hand.
We also play them last game of the season.
A shootout for the play offs at Priestfield on 27th April?
Well it’s still on while we keep winning.

Plenty of other teams also have a game or two in hand over Gillingham too Camps.
If they were to win them it makes it harder for us to go past them.

They do hound but we are the team with the momentum.
That’s what is so important and could be the deciding factor.
Yes it’s still a massive ask to win the last 7 or even 6 wins and a draw which might be enough.
But while it’s still on then I am going to keep the belief.
There is more than enough belief in this team right now & GM isn’t going to let them take their foot off the gas
100% he isn’t

I was really impressed with Sterry today. He doesn’t get many plaudits.

He looks quite quick as well, he must be back up to full fitness.

I see the Crawley commentary team were doing the usual trick, calling it a bad day at the office for their team. Christ on a bike! why can't any of these pundits call it like it was, Rovers won that game with doggedness, determination, a will not to lose the game, and with 10 men, for god's sake you'd think they could see what's in front of their eyes and give Rovers some credit for making Crawley look ordinary, and restricting them to very few chances. Well done lads and Grant & Cliff you deserve all the plaudits you get
for that battling performance.

Agree totally and the Co commentator just couldn't finish any sentence without saying ....  but really we should be 1_0 up

Neatly forgetting we (Rovers) had the Moly shot which their Keeper kept out

He also at one point said we've had 2 great chances and should be 2 up totally failing to think if the shot that LTL saved had gone in the second chance would not have occurred

However the save was made and then if they scored when Wood blocked then that would have been 1 0

They both couldn't count and as it happened  neither counted

God he was appalling

"Don't keep it 0-0. Go and score"

Genius management.

Reminds me of a team talk from our Sunday League manager years ago.

"Come on lads, gather round. I've been thinking about tactics.

"Nah, your lot in defence, TACKLE yer man and get the ball. Then gi it to one o' midfielders.

"Midfielders, gerrit art to' wingers. Your wingers, get round full back and ger a cross in. An your two up front, gerron end or it an bang it in back o' net."

I'm glad it wasn't just me. His style is one of hyperbole - every late tackle has to be described as bone-crunching, awful or the worst thing seen since Stalin was around.  Every foul could be a red card in Tom's commentary.  He was playing to a radio audience and hyping it up, forgetting many of us were listening to him while watching on iFollow video. He also got so much wrong. I used to like Tom's commentary, but since he became more of a Radio DeeDah man, he's slipped into some awful habits.

I mentioned this in a post yesterday and at another away game I watched on iFollow recently.
He is very controversial and gets so many things wrong.

“If my auntie had wheels, she’d be a shopping trolley.”

He spoke a lot of sense there.
Making sure his players didn’t sit back and wait for something to happpen,  but making them understand that we were good quality opponents and were likely to score a goal ourselves.
Good too that he acknowledged our quality.
Many managers just look for excuses.
