as we go above Nitts County  (what idiot would suggest we could NEARLY catch them

is it worth appealing Tom's red card   ( if we played Monday surely we could have got away with that stunt) as the Fa would be closed

so The FA or whatever will be at work on tuesday  would they make a decision on Tuesday
could the 3 game ban (according to GM) be increased

one for silent majority here

the next 3 matches after WREXHAM  aren't that hard

They can up the ban after an appeal but they rarely do.

Having seen the replay I don’t think it was as bad as seeing it live, yes was late but I thought he jumped in more when watching live

I FOUND THIS :

How can Premier League red cards be appealed?

https://www.90min.com/posts/how-appeals-against-red-card-suspensions-work-premier-league

First things first, clubs must lodge their appeal by 17:00 on the second business day following the incident.     SO THERE SEEMS WE COULD APPEAL ON THE TUEDAY TO "STAY" IT

Premier League clubs can appeal certain red cards on the basis of 'wrongful dismissal'*. Once the appeal has been made, the on-field decision will be reviewed by the FA via an independent regulatory commission. This commission is made up of three people who will discuss the appeal after looking over reports from the referee and the fourth official, as well as video evidence of the incident itself.

They will then decide whether to uphold or overturn the three-game ban.

However, there are times when an appeal is deemed 'frivolous' by the commission, and instead of overturning the three-match ban, they add another game onto the suspension. This risk means club's don't relentlessly appeal red card decisions.

not sure what hey mean by wrongful dismissal her

CLH you know as well as me that we don’t know which games are going to be hard.

Morecambe and Walsall have the chance to grab 7th place for starters.

Accrington are in a slump but you can’t take your foot off the gas against them and you have to match them at least with the physical side of the game to beat them.

Newport May still have 7th in sight when we play them. We don’t know yet.

Colchester could still be fighting for their league 2 lives. Again we don’t know.

Gillingham could need 1 or 3 points to clinch 3rd place on the last day.
I am hoping that we may also.

No such thing as an easy game. Not until after you have won it 4/5/6 nil

To appeal they would have to prove it wasn't a dangerous tackle, or show there was no actual contact. There's no way they will overturn to refs judgement on this one.

Bloody hell, Camps, we've not got to face Newport for a 3rd time have we? They've already done the double over us. They must get sick of beating us.

I don't think CLH in original post is saying he expects it to be over turned. He is saying if we appeal could that make Tom available for the Wrexham game while they consider it, then assuming they stick with the descision he is banned for the next three games.

I haven't been an Anderson fan for a while but him and Woody together at the back have been quality.

Not a bad call CLH.

Sorry that should be Barrow.
Who may possibly still have something to play for such as finishing 4th or 5th and getting a home game in 2nd leg of the play offs.

Exactly - matches don’t really get easy until there is just 2 or 3 to go and the opposition has nothing to pay for. And even then, there will be members of their team playing for their next contract.

No, mate. Appeals are dealt with immediately, and decisions are given before the club's next match.

The only way the player gets to play in the next game is if the red card is overruled.

Fair enough pal.

Side question, I was unsure of this today, can the ref play advantage when they think it is a straight red card? I could understand if it was a goal scoring opportunity but this happened in their half and we had plenty back. Seemed to play on for ages then pull it back when they lost the ball, far to late for advantage, and give straight red. Just all seemed really odd to me.

Could we not appeal to have the referee psychologically assessed?

You know it might not be a bad thing if Olowu plays on Tuesday.
I know Anderson has been playing really well and his partnership with Wood has been brilliant this last 10/11 games but Mullin is good on the deck, is pretty quick and nimble and would be a handful for our 2 current CB’s
Olowu has more pace and providing he keeps his brain in gear and does not dive in to tackles ( Mullin will dive in the box) then he may handle him better.
If Fletcher plays or more likely comes on as sub then he will be a big arial threat.
If McGrath is fit enough to play he might start. But if Wrexham start to bombard us with crosses, corners etc then McGrath could be a very useful sub to bring on.
I will leave it to GM though he knows more than I do and right now I trust him with his tactics.

Subs he brought on at Crawley I thought was a big risk, taking off Craig and Biggins and bringing on Broadbent and Rowe.
As it turned out those fresh legs worked and tactically it worked a treat. Even with 10 men we constantly looked a threat.

After the shabby discombobulated season we’ve had, the sending off is just another part . IMO it should be contested and a yellow card awarded in its place as this should have been the correct punishment as it wasn’t neither dangerous or prevented a goal scoring opportunity.
