Actually no - I'm not having a pop at the Irish - it's usually English commentators and predominantly female.

If she would of knew she would of learnt English!
I like listening to talk sport but it really grinds my gears when Darren Bent says axed instead of asked! Talking like he is in some sort of London street crew.
Way back when we used to complain about Jimmy Hill. But Jim was a true trailblazer. Player, Union rep, manager, Chairman. Saw off the maximum wage, introduced 3 points for a win. We used to think he talked b*llocks but now we have Farrah Williams who’s only achievement is that she ticks a box.
Is this the worst thread since that one that tried to get people to rank their favourite black players at the club? Quite possibly.
Dont wanna sound like Joey Barton but.......
The best summariser of football I used to listen to and highly admire was Jimmy Armfield. The point being they no longer pick the best candidate due to their knowledge and experience it’s all about being virtue signallers by getting a minority on and you end up with diluting the quality of output because you’re only selecting people from a smaller cohort. It’s a mathematical impossibility to get better results from that.
