I've just watched their game against Tranmere and I think they were lucky to come away with the points.  Tranmere hit the post/bar 3 times and Walsall's second goal was a free kick that drifted in at the back stick..... Hoping for a win to extend the run.

As an I follow viewer overseas I unfortunately could not attend the last game in person  .I am interested in the comment about people turning up to see the Wrexham circus ..What did it actually mean ..what did they bring apart from a team ?

It's a mystery to me too, but ticket sales are nowhere near last week's, so that tells you something.

As of 1 hour ago Walsall had sold 282 tickets as per the official club twitterX
That's poor for a team who could go into 7th place ,even for a night game

...but its on iFollow and the expense and drive back to Walsall at that time of night will put people off.

The less Walsall fans the better imo, who will be there to cheer Walsall on and get behind them?
7000 home fans would be great as a minimum tonight, get right behind the lads from the warm up to the final whistle, get the drummer going, hopefully the trumpet from Saturday turns up and joins in, roar on every tackle, every throw in, every corner for donny, I firmly believe the fans can have a massive effect on the away team, let's intimidate them, get them to make mistakes, cheer every misplaced pass, every wayward shot if they have any. A lot of talk about winning the next 5 to keep the run going and I'm sure if the players see us fans doing our bit then they will give just as much on the pitch.

Two words, Graing; Ryan Reynolds. However, as far as I know, he wasn't even there.

There are four or five women who sit behind my group and after half time two of the younger ones came back to their seats and announced to their mates that RR was at the match.
I don’t know how they could have known that.

Still
Plenty of game to play but tlt made a great save early on, they then had a goalmouth scramble which should have been a goal. Walsall have had much more of the play and yet rovers score against the run . Can it really be ?

If anyone would have said to me after the away game at Sutton we'd be in with a shout of the play offs with 4 to play, I'd have laughed at them. Absolutely amazing run.

Tickets not selling as well as the Wrexham match which is disappointing. Maybe we were "here to see the Wrecsam"?

Less than 6000 home fans tonight.

Yes, CBCB, and that's just the official figure. On iFollow, it looked less than that.

We really need to get as many fans in on Saturday do everything we can every season ticket holder gets to bring in someone free, get round town centre, kids clubs hand out say a thousand free kid’s tickets.

We need the south stand full pushing the players on

Tough game tonight. Thought they made it really difficult for us. Thankfully we took the chances when they came and saw it out.

Ironside outstanding, Sterry and Bailey also very good.

That ball from Sterry for the second was superb.... glad we have him contracted for another year, he has been excellent of late...
