Best of luck in the final you deserved the win tonight.

Next time DON’T bring Demetriou he was outstanding tonight. :clapping:

Demetriou deserves a statue making and putting up in Crewe town centre!

Honestly feel like Crewe used up all their lives tonight though.

Would put my money on Crawley (or MK Dons, if they can overturn the deficit) to come out victorious at Wembley.

We were better than them tonight. Just lacking the final ball, bad luck in the penalty area, and cheated by bad refereeing. We were the better side over both legs but that's football.

Full marks for loyalty and there may have been some aspects of our play that were better, but overall they were in control.

Nah. Second half we were the better team. Things just didn't come off like they have. That's football.

Completely disagree. Second half in particular we had all of the play and but for a few bad decisions and luck in the final third we'd have got at least one. That's why it's so galling. Just two bits of poor defending have done for us.

Personally I hope they get battered at Wembley

What a horrendous Team to watch , full of gamesmanship from first whistle to last

Fake injuries , usual 40 second Goal Kicks right from the get go.

Stupid Ref aided and abetted them. Every Corner Hacks took their bloke moved too close. Dumbo of a Ref then walks over and tells him to move back

Player moved back but then Dumbo is watching the all in wrestling that constitutes a Corner while their player craftily and stealthily shuffles back to the place he moved from

I really really wanted us to get 1 and win just to deprive them of I'll gotten gains but it didn't happen

Were they playing for Penalties once they scored their second goal ? It seemed like it as especially the second half they wasted no opportunity to waste time

The Ref helped all game long and his version of added time was as pathetic as his interpretation of the Laws of the game

Example second 15 minutes of extra time resulted in just one miserly , mingy , miles out 1 minute of added time. 15 minutes where the ball was in play about 6 or 7 minutes and Dumbo added I, just one f****** minute .

So they knew how to milk every single solitary chance to kill time and what were they afraid of.

So Crawley or MK Dons just batter them,  get 1-0 up and take 3 minutes each throw in and 5 minutes per goal kick

Sadly we deserved all we got we were rabbits in the headlights for the first twenty minutes again. And while we looked the better team after that reality is we created next to nothing..Crewe did a job on us simple as that..Crowd was brilliant nobody can say we didn't back them but we were just not good enough sadly...

Terrible first 20 minutes. Rest of game stuck in second gear. Ran out of juice when it really mattered. Full marks for previous three months, less so for opening tonight.

Well done to Crewe. Their players put in a performance tonight, they seemed to have more energy and more physicality than us.

It was like chalk and cheese compared to the first leg.

I didnt think they had more energy than us. They was on their arse after 60 mins and had to make many subs. We just refused to take a shot at goal whenever we had a chance. Tried too many passes around the box. Whats the phrase? Walk it in

Agree with all of this, Wolfie.  The ref was actually complicit in their time wasting, any stoppage in play and they would deliberately cause the ref to stop them taking the kick/throw and the ref would take a leisurely stroll to give them a ticking off and then a leisurely stroll back to his own position, HE was wasting time on their behalf much of the time and then at full time after all the substitutions and time wasted he gives five minutes.  And don't talk to me about his interpretation of fouling, as far as he was concerned no amount of upper body fouling/pushing/barging/pulling/slam-dunking warranted a foul and Crewe totally filled their boots on that score.  In that respect alone they were the better team.

Crawley vs crewe , that's gotta be the most depressing final ever.

Even worse when they will struggle to shift 10000 tickets between them .

It might be decent final if Crawley carry on with their goal scoring feats. Won’t be watching it like, I’ll watch 5 England games in June/July, then get warmed up for August!

Apart from sentimental value, there’s little point in playing this game there. Couldn’t really think of anything worse than watching a final in a stadium 1/4 full at best

Crew have been given 38k tickets, dearest £65, cheapest £27 and the EFL have told them to use ticketmaster, so theres another £2.50 on the price of every ticket

Even worse it's being sold over 3 tiers.

There will be a few thousand London based non Crawley fans in their end I reckon.

Crewe will be used to paying £27

Sorry, it might be sour grapes and all that but I hope Crawley take them apart and tear them a new one at Wembley!

Yeah, I guess it’s just sour grapes!

I hope they get battered, not because they beat us, more due to the way they did it. A horrible, cynical team.

Loads will come out of the woodwork as normal for a Wembley final.

Same number as we were allocated but we were selling them ourselves. Not through a third party.

In the 1st half one of their players raises his foot in a challenge to head height and the imbecile doesn't even give a free kick. Last year Tommy Rowe got a red card for raising his foot to waist level.
We have been seeing it every week. All I can think of is that there must be no new referees coming through.
