Agreed. Time has caught up with Tommy and JT has been dreadfully unlucky with injuries blighting what is already a short career but their commitment and professionalism has been faultless to the last. Best of luck to both of them.

I'm really sad to see them go, but these are the tough decisions that a manager has to make and it's hard to argue a case to the contrary.

From what I've seen and heard from these two, they are thoroughly good guys and dedicated professionals. My heart goes out to JT in particular because he has lost so much playing time through injuries, and he can't get that time back.

Tommy is the consummate professional, a very intelligent individual who will be a loss to the dressing room and to the club in general.

I'm confident that Grant and the Club will have handled these decisions with compassion and respect.

Both been tremendous servants for us on and off the pitch. Both proper pros and role models. Hopefully Tommy continues to develop his coaching skills and we see him back here in some capacity, you never know with these things of course but he seems to have all the attributes you need to be a successful coach. He's a very intelligent guy so the world is his oyster as far as non-playing roles go, I think.

Such a shame what happened with JT. He was great that first 12-18 months when he came in, and was desperately unlucky with that injury against Portsmouth which only happened because of how full-blooded a player he is.

Couldn't wish for two better professionals to represent our club for the time they have both been here. Incredibly bad luck with injuries for JT, and Tommy will leave me with some unforgettable memories of watching him play and give everything he had for our club. Taylor's career ending injury came from him desperately trying to score at a time when we were still on the edge of the L1 playoffs. And at a time when at least one other player was pulling out of tackles.

He deserves every bit of respect we can give him.

Tommy will be sorely missed by players & fans alike. Always had a smile on his face around the ground, clearly loved the club. I wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.

Taylor’s injury meant we never got the chance to see him consistently at his best. Good luck to him for thr future.

Echo what’s been said in other posts.

Tommy has been a top player particularly in his 1st spell with us.
Not only a very good player but a model pro.

JT was so unbelievably unlucky with injuries. We did see some very good performances from him, match winning ones.
He always gave 100% when he played.

Good luck to both of them in whatever they do from now onwards.

It was so powerful I barely saw the thing let alone the keeper.

Remember Brian Stock hammering one in at Nottm Forest that was pretty sweet.

That was Rowe's trademark when he was at his best. Give him a yard of space on the edge of the box at your peril, hammer of a left peg. The one at Charlton tops the rest though, I agree.

Rowe for me is up there in club legend territory, both on and off the pitch he was a consummate professional. Met him a few times and he was intelligent and engaging, he will be missed. Definitely one I'd like to see with a role around the club like Copps.

Taylor, through no fault of his own, has been a disappointment, and for three seasons has been a waste of a senior player spot.  A good bloke and I wish him well, but extending his contract is one of the (many) reasons we've gone backwards past few years.
