Crawley vs Crewe
« on May 19, 2024, 04:54:00 am by les@donr »
For one day only we are all Crawley fans. Giving us the two chances of sweet revenge on Crewe next season.

I’m hoping to see their cheating scumbag of a keeper crying like a baby at full time

Be thankful you can instead go the beer garden. And maybe watch Klopp pump his chest,  and the scousers with their daft wordy flags, after winning the league once in 9 years

So Leicester and Chelski aside who won the other 6 would that be a club with 115 charges against them that the PL are scared to proceed with, but let's go after the Forests and the Evertons of this league instead.
It's shamefull really

Hope Crewe win. Backed them at 40/1 before our game.

Idea....everyone who was going to go Wembers has probably saved a few hundred quid. Stick £20 of that aside and buy a Rovers ticket for that 1 mate who hasn't been before. The "GM is going for promotion so bring a mate and let's get the ground full fund"   :scarf:  :scarf:

I’ll be avoiding it like the plague. No Rovers fan needs to see that. If there’s any silver lining, then it’s that I don’t have to endure the dog hole that is London.

I couldn't give a toss who wins today.  We should have been good enough to beat Crewe, and I would have been driving to London now.

But we weren't, so I'm looking forward to next season with greater enthusiasm than ever.

Will check on the score late afternoon at some point and thats it for me. Good luck to both teams.

Sat outside in the lovely sunshine having a coffee thinking i should be outside a wembley watering hole now taking in the atmosphere with something colder and crisper.

It's a bugger this Wembley thing , my Rugby League team Wakefield Trinity have reached Wembley for the first time since 1979 and will play the Sheffield Eagles in the 1895 Cup final .

I started supporting Trinity in 1982 and we are on a cruise on June 8th when Trinity walk out at Wembley after all these years .

I wasn't bothering me too much until last Sunday when I went to Odsal Stadium to see us beat the Bradford Bulls in the semi final and be part of the really emotional celebrations amongst the fans and players after the game .

I'm now absolutely gutted , I take the point there are worst things in life to be on a cruise rather than at Wembley stadium but none the less .

Chin up Rovers , losing a Play Off Final is definitely worse than a semi and that can always happen .

Having to endure your opponents fans celebrations whilst you walk away with a hole bunch of nothing isn't easy .

Worse place in the world is Wembley when you lose , awful .

I'll turn on to watch last 5 mins if Crawley winning to see cynical Crewe drop to their knees in despair. Especially their Keeper

Snap!

Absolutely gutted. Anyone who says the aren’t bothered by the result have my respect.

I hope Crewe get absolutely battered.

Still feels like we threw it away. Would rather have lost each leg 4-0

Less than 30k there.

This isn’t a surprise. Crewe couldn’t sell 1500 at our place. Tinpot club

I think Crawley sold 16k and Crewe about 12-13k.

Brought myself to watch it but depressed. Glorious day as well. What a day it could’ve been.

They are bang average and it’s a complete f**k up we let them back into the game so quickly.

Gardening today.

What a kick in the gut.

I hate weeding and mowing as a rule so imagine how I feel doing it when I could have been at Wemberlee
