If so good luck to him Grant will get a replacement

Not even worried anymore when players leave about who we will get, I know grant and the staff will get a suitable replacement

I wasn’t sure on the account but Wycombe have currently got 37 year old Gareth McCleary in that position and don’t have any left footed forwards or wingers…

Because they are in a better league and will pay him more. If it’s true, of course

Guess the A League is even further but that’s a different story entirely.

It's a big decision for him, I think I'd like him to stay but if he gets a move to a higher league on more money that's fair enough.

Our big selling point is that he's got a chance of winning a promotion and being settled in a higher league as a big player.  It's a strong option still despite being league 2.

As we've speculated before  I would imagine there's a number of clubs who've been aware of his contract situation and have tracked his end of season form. His stats will be quite impressive even before they have him watched.

His agent, as with all players Inc' Haks will try to provide their man with as many realistic options as possible, and Wycombe are likely just one of those. A new owner trying to make an impression by casting their eye over the best available in the leagues around them. They maybe in a position to pay above average for League One but I imagine there will still be stiff competition.

Where LM ends up, I don't really care but good luck to him.

They have their deadline from GM, if they can't make up their minds (or rather if their managers can't make up their minds for them) then they go and are forgotten. GM is too busy to mess about with people not committed, go away.

When do we think the deadline is or was?

A week after the Crewe 2nd leg?
End of May?
Just before the Euros kicks off?
End of June?

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for players to have a couple of weeks holiday immediately after the season finishes.  Switch off from football completely.  Let the agents do their bidding/negotiating, then after their hols the players/agents have a short while to commit.  To me that’s a 3 week period.

Pure conjecture of course.

31 May then. Sounds reasonable.

The advantage we have with Grant McCann is his experience of situations with players at end of contract. He also knows the broader market of alternative players available should Mols decide to move and he has a lot of good things to offer and promise to newcomers such as Sbarra !

What's the date when contracts usually expire, is it 1st June?
If so that, or what ever the cortect date is, will be the deadline date IMHO

As the transfer window officially opens on 14 June  I would have thought contracts end then but either way you would think McCann will want decisions before 14th if not sooner.

I'm pretty sure although contracts end 30th June we still have to pay them their July salaries.

Guess the A League is even further but that’s a different story entirely.

It used to be one of the most expensive places in the London commuter belt to live. On the train from Paddington you encounter lots of obviously wealthy (posh) people. So it would have to be a really good deal to make it worthwhile.

If Molyneux doesn't sign a new contract I'll be disappointed, however he's replaceable. I'd be more disappointed if we can't sign Adelakun, he's just got that X factor for me where he can make things happen and the front 3 as a whole improved & benefited from him being in the side from January.

Other way round for me. Molyneux better of the two but we do need someone with similar qualities to Adelakun.

If you just looking at wide play Moly is better but Haks made brilliant runs in behind and was really the only one who was doing that. He also had that bit of entertainment factor to his skills which the fans value

I can see both your opinions,Although I feel Mols will be easier to replace,Haks beats him man more consistantly and links midfield to the danger area more often for us,my only concern is whether Haks will still play his best has consistantly once he has sorted a long term contract out  for himself wherever he ends up.
