What do people expect this was always going to happen when they said more money would go down the pyramid

Could we at least move the cameras for next season? At least make it look like there are fans there. West is near full east is empty every week

Suits me as I don’t work Fridays so Thursday evening is the start of my weekend.

Think about it.

How much would it cost the club to move all the cameras & commentary positions to the East Stand & take up space currently used as executive boxes, restaurants & bar area?

Not going to happen is it.

I'd assume in this day and age there is an opportunity to move the camera but leave commentary and other set ups as per.

If we do get cameras more regular i hope its on a smaller scale to the play off game as it was bedlam getting round the ground after final whistle between two media trucks and some idiot trying to drive their car out. Then fans travelling both ways total scrum.

Isn’t there a guarantee to televise all sides at least a certain amount of times? So we’ll be on quite a few times.

No need to move commentary positions. Just need to move one camera position from west to east.  But then we can't get the PA system to work properly so maybe not.  :chair: :chair:

Maybe for this vanity project, should we pay Westanders to relocate to the East?

If we are in the top three will there be more likelihood of us being on more often.

Less of a vanity project, more good marketing. I know people who see the donny highlights and always comment on the stadium being empty (even when it isn’t). People don’t want to come to watch football in an empty stadium.

Cameras in the east stand would look terrible on TV, facing the sun, might be ok for night matches.

No one, but sky subscribers pay for it and enable them to f*ck up our schedules just like other leagues. That’s why I’ll never subscribe to them and put money into their coffers - f*ck*ng hate them! We’ve got a fire stick, we’ve got a fire stick…..!!!  :boxing:

Its' the facing the sun that is the issue.

Does anyone know what is happening with Iplayer next season for us abroad?

Can’t watch iplayer outside the uk mate unless you use a vpn. They don’t show and football league games anyway

I can perhaps tolerate moving a few games to Thursdays. I’m just glad I don’t follow the Premier League because the Liverpool owner wants to have a game in New York or LA. It’s bonker.

It's about making it look like a decent place to go on matchday to the casual fan. Now down you get of that horse

The only thing wrong with that is that if no subscribers paid, there wouldn't be any Sky matches for people to watch on their firesticks.

I think the first game of season will NOT be a 3pm KO too. If you read the FAQ. They say the 3pm blackout will continue and then also say all opening games are live....

"All other broadcast games include:
All opening and final day fixtures in the Sky Bet EFL
All midweek league fixtures
All bank holiday fixtures including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day"

Fair enough! They only give a f*ck about premier league and L**ds anyway!!
