in America we have :-

"Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. it's just been said on sky that the usa had a "potential" plot to either kill or kidnap him and there was a court case in Madrid over it -

I saw an interesting comment on Assange.

He's very lucky to see the light of day again after conspiring with Putin to tip a US Election in Trump's direction. And then there's the strange case of how he got WikiLeaks Vault 7 data (a hack of CIA's computers) passed on to him. It's a very odd story.

Of all people, Nigel Farage was spotted by a member of the public, quietly entering the Ecuadorian Embassy in March 2017. Assange of course was holed up there.

The member of the public thought "that's odd" and Tweeted about it.

By the time Farage left the embassy at 1pm, a few media folk had seen the tweet and gathered at the embassy doorway.

As Farage left, they photographed him and asked him who he had met in the embassy. Farage replied "I can't remember."

At 2:30pm, Assange held a video news conference from the embassy, announcing the Vault 7 release.

I'm sure it's all just a wild coincidence.
