Short video with some highlights from Keith in recent years;https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1633782958883471360/pu/vid/720x720/CUQFEDnttxiKkLoc.mp4?tag=12Cherish and enjoy!I reckon "peak Keith" will last about a year, and this time next summer his race is run.Perhaps that's the plan....salt the earth for Nige to step in?
I don't think there is any chance of Rayner being allowed to take a leading role.Much more likely Keith will press on for the full term, losing public support on the way.Thoughts turn to how long Keith will get as a honeymoon, before becoming the most hated man in the UK.I reckon 1 year at most, this time next year he will be reviled as a waste of space.Unusually a decent article in the Guardian on project Keith;https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/article/2024/jun/28/keir-starmer-labour-britain-conservative-partyThis is interesting because it considers the options after Labour do next to nothing, as set out in the manifesto.More austerity, and a likely inability to meet the unrealistic growth targets, is just the scenario that Farage needs to pick up support from disillusioned voters.Similar situation is playing out now in France, where centrist Macron seems to have misunderstood the public mood big time.
i do wonder if Starmer ever "crossed" "to the other side" there is a "certain word "that rhymes with Keir and children cane be very nasty to the "weird" early life he had https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/keir-starmer-fight-homophobia-lgbt-biography-b2499904.html
Here's a thought. What will Starmer's relationship with Le Penn and Trump be like?

Interesting that kid starter is now using the line that the boat crossing are a nationalEmergency issue. Sure I’ve heard that somewhere before ?
Really surprised at the number of anti- labour folk that we have on this forum. Perhaps these are the folk that have done ok during the last 14 years of this shambolic tory government.Im not a massive fan of Starmer, less so of his deputy, but i will be voting to get rid of this current shower running our country because they have been an embarrassment.

For many reasons the conservatives deserve to lose this election . But by the same regard, the Labour Party don’t deserve to win it. Not good. Do you want to have a shit sandwich or shit on toast?
It is not about the result on Friday Syd.We already know Labour will have a majority as the Tories have imploded and given up.The Guardian article is about what happens when Keith is in power, and the implications for the next GE in 2029.Please read it before commenting.Voter expectations are wildly at odds with the offer in the Labour manifesto, as the FT explain;https://archive.ph/BlYgHThe cuts Starmer and Reeves have signed up to are going to be a shock to those who have not understood the manifesto, and there will be a backlash. The danger is that the underperformance of Labour in power will create a vacuum for Farage to exploit. We need to be mindful of the great divide opening up in France as we speak.
How lovely that starmer plans to clock off on a Friday at 6pm so he can spend some time with family. After all, it’s not too important a job is it? And nothing much happens around the world after 6pm on a Friday does it .Ffs.
