If you don't have a Sky Sports subscription, yeah, as I understand it the day-rate for this would be a NowTV Day Pass at about £15 a day. I am not a Sky subscriber so I will have to consider my options here.

Not a clue if there is going to be any audio-only commentary any more.

It has been very badly communicated - no clear FAQs - the only info seems to be Sky's own pages which, surprise surprise, are a bit bias towards how wonderful the Sky offering is and a huge assumption that we are all already Sky subscribers, so this is a fabulous deal as it's all no extra charge. Hmmmmm.

I also have mate who has one of those thingys and can confirm that they show all of the EFL games. You need to have a fast internet connection and even then the commentary and video can be a little bit behind the one on Iplayer, so I am told, because I don't have one myself as it's illegal.

Mate of mine said that was iPlayer. Whilst we know Sky are going to record 3pm kickoff are we sure they are going to distribute it to countries other than ours that allow 3pm viewing???

Just a word of warning that if you’re planning to do something illegal it probably isn’t the best idea to admit you’re going to do it on a public forum..

Good thinking Steve, I might ask my mate if I can go round to his house to watch when Rovers are on.
I wouldn’t want anyone to be reporting me.

There might be a business opportunity for someone to set up "Lucky Pint" franchises lol

Good question. I'm outside the UK. I'll probably sign up but need to make sure it won't be blocked here.

I am with you all the way, it looks increasingly like I will not be able to follow Rovers anymore, the audio commentary was affordable, this is going to make it out of my range and I will just be forced to ignore the club.

Have I missed something? Have the prices for the services been announced?

Any one know how this channel works, is it streaming only or is it red button on the Sky platform?

I can't sit for 2 hours to watch a match at the stadium. I would happily pay the club a tenner a match to watch every home and away match. The situation is ludicrous in this day and age. I have NordVPN but not sure if I can get away with paying £180 for the international service with a UK card. Probably end up just watching the comments all season on the BBC or Twitter.

Those of us who are hundreds of miles away are worse off than foreign residents. I’d happily pay more than £10 a match - indeed, how would clubs lose if you paid the equivalent of a top price season ticket to stream all the matches. The only argument I can think of is that more than one member of the family would be able to watch.

It’s a well worn argument, but even in advancing years, if I was living only an hour or so away from Doncaster, I’d be there every week.

I'm a dinosaur. Don't understand all this techy stuff. So what is probably a silly question: if you did happen to maybe use one of these Amazon 4k firesticks in the UK, would you still need a Sky subscription to watch the togger?

I have an Amazon firestick and a Now TV Sky Sports subscription. Now TV is a platform that shows Sky but you can purchase a rolling contract (or even a single day) and don’t need a Sky box. As far as I’m aware that’s the only way to watch on an Amazon firestick.

There are also illegal sticks available (the dodgibox) where essentially you can watch anything that has a camera on it. If it’s streamed somewhere in the world, it’ll be on there, so everything that was on ifollow last year was and presumably the Saturday 3pm games we have this year will also be on there.

If you get an IPTV app then you don’t need sky+ Bob
