Election day
« on July 04, 2024, 02:16:42 am by scawsby steve »
Well, it's finally here, guys. Get the popcorn ready.

Bye bye, Rishi. Don't be too disheartened; you'll soon be in the California sunshine.

Well done Keith on a thumping majority. I'm sending you a pack of Diazepam. You'll need them when you see the size of your in-tray.

Well done Ed Davey on massively increasing the number of Lib Dems in the HC. Your strategy obviously worked, so I'm sending you a list of the worst polluted rivers and lakes in the UK, then in 5 years time you can chuck yourself in again.

I'd like to add that I don't blame any of the above for our abysmal weather, our abysmal national football team, and the abysmal line-up at this year's Glastonbury.

FFS, roll on August, so that the Rovers can hopefully offer us some excitement.

Remember Starmer took the knee...

And he also supported Sunak the other day when the reform guy called him a “f**king p*ki”.

f**k off back under your barrel.

Anyone considering voting purely based on immigration, we had Brexit and subsequent elections where that was top of the agenda. We've done that to death and need to move on.

Anyone who doesn't want to privatise the NHS and it no longer be free at use then don't vote Tories or Reform.

Anyone who is worried about being taxed more, you're already being taxed a shit tonne, so they don't need to, the Tories have already done the prep work there and if it helps improve public services then it's worth it.

The number of people using food banks is up.
The number of millionaires and billionaires are up.
The middle class is shrinking.

It's time for change.

Anyone still considering voting Reform or for the Tories I have one message for you... Stay Home. Protect the NHS. Save Lives.

BB, I disagree with every political opinion that you express on here. But you are pretty funny. Please keep up the good work!

Good post Steve! Take issue with the Glastonbury comment though. I thought it was ace (bar the headliners).

Yes, I should have used better semantics, Herbert. It was mainly the headliners I was on about. I didn't see as much of the rest as I normally do.

Probably because of the Euros.
