Not sure if Bobby's playing but Dundalk play tonight.  I've just registered on League of Ireland TV as it's live streaming the match.
You can watch individual match for 7 Euros or a half season ticket for 60 Euros.

Rovers season ticket holder here so at the game. Obviously hoping Bobby doesn't do the business this evening!

Took a second to work out you meant Shamrock Rovers, not Donny.

Must be impossible for him to hit the ground running. Not played for 275 days, no proper pre season…

And this is why injuries happen.

1 Nil down at halftime, Bobby booked.  Done ok, couple of good blocks.  Will be very very busy in the next few months looking at Dundalk's Midfield.

Clumsy that’s why.

Hope I’m proved wrong, but I can’t see him making it here. Just like Jones, because he’s one of our own we want them to succeed, but when needed, unfortunately just not good enough. Like I said, I hope I’m wrong but by the time Bobby is back I can’t see him being used, especially if we’re in the top 7.

He's a good defender. Just needs to become a better footballer.

Needs games, which hopefully he will get. There is a very good defender in there, its a nonsense that he's no good on the ball. 19 years old remember.

He did very well in the game last night The Irish Times a good 7 kept a Celtic loan player who is really well thought of quiet.
The same player scored when getting past an English age group international who has been recalled by Sunderland when one on one with him, he never did Bobby once in the same situations in the game,  and knew Bobby  was there when they jousted together.
His fitness got him through a full ninety minutes and visibly grew into the game as it went on and finished the game well on top of his man, and looked more composed as the game progressed and to say he hadn't kicked a ball at all in competitive football from November and his injury, didn't let it affect him which in his first game and against the reigning Irish champions
Clumsy or not he impressed those there to watch him from other clubs and how he ended the game physically was testament to how he trained and worked on his fitness by himself since the end of last season.

The clumsiness will disappear has his fitness improves and he has more game time. Might be well advised to just go out and practice dribbling after training for a hour or so just to put muscle memory in place for the ball at his feet and give more balance, small things like that can make all the difference

The narrative that he’s useless on the ball isn’t really true. He has looked rushed at time and isn’t silk but his usage isn’t bad (got all the data to back that up bla bla bla).

I’m convinced he is good. Certain he will end up playing in our first team regularly, if he doesn’t he will end up playing at a good level somewhere else.

I think he could be a great assett to this club.

Just think where we were at as a club when he has played his games and also how badly other senior players were performing around him. I don't think we can judge any individual in that period let alone a kid.

I don’t think it’s so much about being a better footballer, rather a smarter one.

The lad is eager to impress and that’s perhaps down to his inexperience, but he’ll learn and become a much better part of our squad.

He played left side by the way last night, it's not a problem.

The lad is both young and hasn’t played much football for the last 18 months. He needs games. Week in, week out. Impossible to judge without him getting consistent minutes. Fitness, judgement and responsibility. Cannot have that if he is getting 3 mins from the bench. This is a good move and platform for him to prove himself. More than anything else, he needs to be on the pitch.

He turned out alright for me on Football Manager - if, of course, that is anything to go by!

A big game for Dundalk on Friday evening, and with his partner in his first game returning to Sunderland and quite a few new players coming in  in a local derby against the bottom side in the league just behind Dundalk the pressure is mounting on him and the team to do well.
On a personal note he has settled well, loves the place and a good set of committed supporters and is being well looked after, a big thing with a 19 yr old the first time away from home in digs.
He is training well and has had no problem with his injury and was happy the manager praised him after his first game which has gone a long way to build his confidence again and is enjoying getting out training and playing matches again.
Its a tough league with a mixture of experienced and young players now being attracted to it as it is played at a different time of the year to most leagues in Europe.
His two aims are to put a string of games together and play well as he was followed last Friday with clubs having representatives at the game last Friday evening. The lad from Celtic he was marking is attracting clubs from Europe and the UK, and he handled him well so lots to look forward to.
It is a pity his partner in the game has returned to Sunderland to go out on loan here, he looked a handy player for a good partnership and looked good enough to kick on and is an England age group player, they complimented each other and  I can see him getting a good loan in the EFL or being used by Sunderland themselves.
