As much as I love Big Joe, no one over 30 should be getting deals as long as Bailey has.
Bailey has more potential to.plag high end league 1 football with us, I'm.not convinced Joe does.

I think the influence of Woody on Joe has been a big help with that.

Olowu’s performance against Wrexham was one of the individual performances of the season.

I feel like he will play more next season as I still feel Wood x Anderson could get exposed if we get worked out

Hurst for sure will merit a three year contract before Jan .I believe Olowu and Ironside will warrant extensions but not as lengthy .
I think our vulnerability in the short term is midfield and hope we still sign another Premiership loanee to emulate the contribution Craig made in our 20 game run in last season .

For me, the vulnerability is if Ironside gets injured.
We would have to sign a physical striker / target man on loan.
Without him we are quite a small team.

Generally agree he has to perform better this season to unleash the potential we know he has. In full flow, there's not many better at ghosting past defences plus he can finish.

In his cameo appearances towards the end of the season, he did actually get stuck in and won some vital headers and interceptions, so I hope he can show more bravery that McCann demands from his players.

EDIT: Can't blame him though. That disease he had is horrendous; a vivacious and outgoing friend of mine became a wheelchair-bound frail waif after getting it and died in her forties last year.
