Thought it was two yellows, but yes, I see now it is straight red so three games given it was violent conduct.

If Maxwell is soon to be back why did we get Fleming on a full season loan?

I feel like Jack Senior has been hard done by here.

Fleming has offered little going forwards and was poor defensively today as well.

Fully agree, surely Senior is a better shout than Fleming?

We will have a break clause in Jan as usual.

His first and second games I thought he looked absolute quality. Last few games he has struggled, but the whole team has.

Maxwell is a different level and can't wait for him to be back.

Maxwell and Westbrooke trained all week. Nixon still not training on grass yet. Wood seeing specialist again to see if he can step up his training.

Worth noting that Westbrooke has just welcomed a baby as the reason McCann gave

I know GM said Westbrooke had a minor setback but this week it seems to be paternity leave

Looking at the squad on Saturday, with Anderson suspended and Wood and Westbrooke not fit, that means we had Nixon, Senior, Fleming and Emmanuel not able to make the squad. They are four talented players who would get into the starting XI of pretty much every side in League Two.

I've said it before but David Rennie is the 2nd most valuable staff member after Grant..

Wood out training now but non-contact only. Westbrooke still not fit enough to be out training on pitch yet. Nixon will play a role Tuesday night.

Maxwell didn’t make squad today. Senior starting and Fleming on bench. Sterry starts.

Nixon injured his hamstring in the friendly against Rotherham. Out for 2-3 weeks.

That’s now Nixon and Wood still out. Westbrooke will travel with squad on Sunday but not clear if that means he might be available to play. Still, that’s a decent return on our injuries at this stage of the season.

Hope none of the injuries today turn out to be bad. Joe Olowu in particular.

Not just saying this with the benefit of hindsight as I said it in the summer. His contract renewal really wasn’t smart business. The warning signs were there with his niggling injury last season.

Wood had been an ‘ever present’ at Rotherham. I think age has caught up with him & don’t think we’ll see him in a Rovers shirt again sadly.

Great shame because along with TLT and Hacks he provided the foundations for "that" exciting run at end of last Season

He was immense
