Possible postponement

Got a pal who works for GMP and he says there is strong talk going round his force that all EFL games this week are getting postponed due to not being able to police it due to ongoing protests planned for the weekend. Read what you want into it but wouldn't be predicting your starting 11 just yet.

Our game is classed as police free so we should be ok, unless the government try to stop any mass gathering, don't think they will as they want as much as possible to distract the few people that get involved in the issues we have seen

Is that GMP or could it be Cheshire? Mark Roberts is in charge of UKFPU and he's also in charge at Cheshire so I can understand it coming from him!

This is absolutely true. Short of actual civil war, no way will the EPL ever get postponed. Ever.

Football will be a distraction. A lot of rioters will be football fans who attend games regularly for sure. That's if they're not in prison by Saturday

I never once justified any riots, not once,  and regarding this match it wouldn't be policed anyway, so wouldn't affect us !
