Good 60mins that from Zain. Looked composed on the ball, comfortable taking iftfrom our defence when under pressure, think we missed that at times on Saturday. High press aswell, looked like he won the ball to set Billy away.

Good 60mins return from injury

He was the pick of the midfielders in that first half for me. Did very well.

Thought Kelly was the outstanding midfielder myself.
This lad looks a player.

It was good to see both of them in the brief highlights from last night.

Westbrooke pressing, along with the rest of the players, forcing Salford into mistakes, which led to Westbrooke winning the ball to set up Billy for the first. Didn't he take that with composed aplomb!

Kelly looks to have a real turn of pace to get away, and maintain runs with the ball at his feet. That maybe something even Craig can't match.

I've never known us be able to change an entire XI for a match and, still be able to play football a class above our opponents at times.

Early days but, we do seem to be carrying that momentum over from last season which was always going to be so important.

This is League Two, so bear that in mind, but this is strongest squad we have had for many a year.

Absolutely. Can't really recall such a  strong squad for the relative division. Maybe from the days when we went on a mad shopping spree when we announced two signings every day for a week, maybe the first full season under SO'D.

Happy days.

Westbrooke had probably the best first half I’ve seen from him but Kelly Clifton and Sbarra were running and pressing could do the same job with more attacking players on left attacking and behind the striker I’m not sure. For me Bailey and Kelly or Broadbent for Saturday.
