Love having Grant back at the club and I'm hoping for a great season this year

I hope he will be reluctant to jump ship especially after what happened at hull and posh but it does concern me that if his country comes calling

He seems very clued up on talent that's being produced (Patrick Kelly being an example)

I genuinely worry that the Northern Irish fa would look to him

I certainly agree with the first paragraph. The realistic ambitions of a country, province really, with a population of less than two million cannot hope to win an international trophy. Qualification for the Finals is the only reasonable ambition and that is stretching it. Peter Doherty did it part-time I think in the days, when compared with the development of the sport in Europe and elsewhere, their ambitions could be higher. So I don't think it could be a step up from where he is now.

As GMcC grows older and more experienced we might hope that he might recognise that a period of real sustained success taking his club to one or even two promotions will not only favour DRFC, but make him wiser and more focused to carry through a long term goal. Under TB, you would expect such loyalty would bring increasing financial rewards.
