And it was injury time when they did refuse. I think I read somewhere that the reason for the refusal to reappear was that they were upset after the injury. Bloody good job they weren't seeing what happened to David Busst then...

The FL should penalise em and award the game to Scunny.

BobG

I think the National League would have somethnig to say about that.  ;)

If Scunny aren't awarded the win, then the people running the National League must have less then 3 brain cells between them.

Former player Joe Wright had a great game for is former club. Bradford won’t have been too happy about it though

I am watching Ethan Galbraith (remember him?) playing for Northern Ireland against Germany in Cologne. It's 1-1, and I  wouldn't be surprised to see NI take something from this game. It's far from a vintage German team.

How do Mansfield U21’s make a signing?
Is that not just Mansfield Town?

Tyler Roberts was a second half sub for Tamworth who were lambs to the slaughter in a 4-0 defeat at York in midweek.

You’d have thought so but it specifically says the U21s made the signing. Who knows!

He must be no age at all. Poor guy. YTV goal of the season 1992/93 I seem to recall. A rocket.

Very sad news. Used to socialise with Mark with his wife being a former work colleague. Lovely fella. Thoughts go to his family. RiP.

JET came on in the second half.  Nothing further to report.

Well he was an ex player,  once long ago.
Surely never a yellow,  just for this!

Just stuck the FA Cup on. Brackley v Notts.

Looks like Jonny Maxted is in goal for Brackley. Thought he'd disappeared after that disastrous play off final for Exeter the other year!

He's playing in same Kilmarnock side as James Brown, who had a difficult loan spell with us in 2022/23.

Maybe he will come good, maybe he will struggle. But like Westbrooke and to an extent Close, we have established and senior League One players on the books presumably among our higher earners, and not starting games. For periods, not even being in the match day squad. That's big money going to waste.

Ah yes, the infamous Copps MTO answer “our scouts have him by many metrics a better player than Kyle Knoyle”
