I watched Brandon Fleming play for Derry City my local team Shamrock Rovers yesterday. He played well although Rovers won comfortably enough in the end.

Surprised he ended up there. They are an oddity though as they play in the Irish top flight even though Derry City is in Northern Ireland. Think they are the only side that does over there.

Good documentary on how this happened if you can find it - https://northernirelandscreen.co.uk/news/filming-in-northern-ireland/new-documentary-about-the-return-of-derry-city-fc-to-air-on-bbc-ni/

Curtis Main on the scoresheet today in the Scottish Premier. Not many admirers here but he’s racked up close to 400 pro appearances now.

Lasagne came on as a 81st minute sub and set up the Aberdeen final goal in their 6-2 home win against Livingston.

Yes that was a real surprise when we saw the team sheet, considering his time at Bolton had been a little shaky. Good luck to him.

Deji Sotana now at Witton Albion in the Pitching-In Nothern Premier League West Division, on dual registration with Boston in order to try to get fit. His brother is in same side at Witton Albion.

1:38 a beautiful Taylor Richards goal for Crawley.

Somehow his first since leaving us in 2021.

Clean sheet for Big Tom on his debut yesterday along of course with a booking. Uninspiring 0-0 home draw with Bromley is a bit concerning though.

Are Marquis and Biggins still there?

Yep, both started on Saturday along with Big Tom. They had Sam Stubbs and Sam Clucas starting also. A strong side for League Two. Managed by Michael Appleton as well. Ex-Rover Sean Parrish is their first team coach.

Appleton gone. A side in real trouble.

Friend of mine is ST holder at Scunny. He has been impressed with Westbrooke. He's not seen much of Hurst or Jones yet but in fleeting appearances said they looked good.

Westbrooke probably playing a level below where he should be playing. No wonder he looks good.

Devante Cole scored for Port Vale.

They’ve sold him to Luton Town. Probably not surprising after Moore left.

And hit the bar with a free kick.  Sadly then looked like he pulled a thigh muscle which forced him off.
