Apparently Tom Anderson still plays Padel with the lads so some are still sociable with each other.

Jack Goodman recalled from his loan at Alfreton by Mansfield. Scored today for their U21s. Interested to see how his career will pan out.

...Adam Long has been picked up by Bangor City 1876. He's scored four in four starts and one sub appearance for them since joining last month....

Watched him in person on Saturday, he's put on a bit of timber since he was with us. Scored again too, the knob (– I was supporting the opposition).

Didn't realise Darren Byfield was manager of Walsall now, until the end of the season at least. 3 games in and seems to be doing a decent job so far with 7 points on the board.

8 and 1 isn’t with Butler and Schofield!

In terms of quality, think he goes a bit under the radar for just how good a player he is as a loanee we've had. Very good player. Doesn't get talked about enough.

He was one of those ‘loan with a view to another club signing them on a permanent’ deals we did wasn’t he?

The quality of the players around him didn't help him. Mbappe would struggle in that team.

Kieran Sadlier now at Sporting JAX in US second tier. Based in Jacksonville, Florida. They’ve got Phil Neville’s son playing for them along with a few other former lower league players in England.

Thought Sadlier could have done a job for us short term

Barnes had already earned a cap a few years back

Watched Harrogate lose at home to Notts County at lunchtime. They were very poor. If Faulkner can’t get a game there then he’s not ready to add much to our squad next season.

I think "very poor" is being kind to them.

He worked in the building trade down in Kent didn’t he? Obviously he’s still doing his DIY! Does he still live in Doncaster then despite his mobility Cheltenham, South London, Birmingham and now Huddersfield? I lived in Huddersfield at one time and would not recommend it!

He lives close to Doncaster because a friend of mine was involved in him buying his present home, but he hadn’t sold his previous one, rents it out. I suspect he’s done that with his other properties his lived in.
I’m all but sure he worked for his brother in his building/roofing firm before joining Rovers

He’s just moved to Blyth round the corner from where I’ve just moved from. Gods waiting room that place!
