Nothing of importance. Why he is in our hall of fame I’ll never know. Current so called Doncaster City manager as well.

He was a good, young, fast winger. Sadly he had zero brain so his exciting talents didn't deliver that much. Cloughie tried to teach him - but he didn't get very much out of that talent either. So no. A talent that didn't  deliver. There are a lot of players more deserving of a place in the Hall of Fame.

However he did score his only goal for Southampton to send them into the league cup final in 1979, at the expense of Leeds

We did get a good deal when Cloughie bought him from us (Miller and Peacock were great for us), although maybe not as good as it might have been (quote from wiki):

He signed for the Fourth Division Doncaster Rovers in July 1973 from non-league football. He made 68 appearances for Rovers, scoring 11 goals in two seasons. Brian Clough was wanting to sign him but was put off by the asking price of £140,000, so he controversially told Curran's brother of his interest so Curran would not sign a new contract, thus reducing the transfer fee. He signed for Nottingham Forest in August 1975, with Rovers receiving £50,000 plus keeper Dennis Peacock and winger Ian Miller.

I may be wrong but getting a heritage shirt doesn’t mean they are in the hall of fame. Every player who has played is assigned one in numerical
Order of when they made their debut so even the Richardson era players will have one. Not hall of fame membership

On the heritage shirts I think it's nice, but would like to hear what he player was saying.

Spot on, he was just collecting his heritage shirt, he’s not in the HoF.

I think the heritage number thing was a fantastic idea. Many thanks to the people behind it for their work. I hope it continues.

However, the on-pitch interview maybe needs tweaking. It could even be just an introduction from tannoyman then a big round of applause.

Would it be better if a brief interview was done in a private room before or after the game (like we do manager and player interviews) then edited for the website? It would be good to capture at least 5 minutes or so of content from every recipient for heritage purposes. The fanbase could even submit questions if we knew in advance who’s coming. People on here could come up with some corkers I’m sure.

Also, has Peter Heritage got his heritage shirt yet? Maybe there’s a list somewhere and I’ve missed who has been ‘done’.

I remember a game at OBV in 74-75 against Mansfield who were top.  TC, who was only a kid tbf, turned it on at 3-1 down and we came back to 4-3, when the winner went in TC jumped into the net and climbed it like an army assault course.  Thankfully he weighed nothing and it didn’t rip and mean an abandonment… but he was a terrific talent.
