No Sbarra in the squad, injured or out of favour? Surprised at McGrath starting over Olowu. I don’t think the constant chopping and changing of Billy to Ironside and back is doing either any favours - I’d prefer that one got an extended run.

Pleased to see Clifton back, though, and will be interesting to see if Westbrooke gives us a bit more control and composure in midfield.

Westbrooke did well against Everton and deserves a chance. Very harsh on Olowu though.

Surprised Sharp in for Ironside can’t understand Westbrooke we will see. The midfield and attack doesn’t look balanced

Some players were shattered after Tuesday night so I'm guessing that is why they are on the bench.

Hopefully see billy score today

We must be looking to play more to feet if Billy is up front by himself.
It wasn’t particularly successful against Morecambe.

Will Westbrooke play more forward passes or his normal backwards and sideways and slow possession

Does the manager know what his best side is, I wonder?

I like Billy but last season Joe scored over 20 goals and works his socks off. Westbrooke is never a Craig but who is yet I’m disappointed with the team hope they prove me wrong.

Ironside did a lot of running on Tuesday.

I worry about the balance and movement of the players up top and the separation between midfield and attack. Of course if it doesn’t quite work Westbrooke will get the blame.

Does make you wonder what his selection priorities are.

Just different views on Westbrooke and what he brings to the side its not a blame game

16 | We lead at Vale Park!

It's a beautiful ball over the top from Billy Sharp as Luke Molyneux comes across his man to go one-on and smash into the back of the net!

BOOM!

Port Vale 0-1 Rovers

Hand ball on the break stops Gibson when clean through not even a yellow

Excellent from Gibson. He was through on goal if it wasn't for that handball!

Gibson unlucky there. He was away and last defender deliberately hand balled it

Anybody else have the feeling that Clifton could be an absolute gem of a signing this season? His only downfall is he's constantly running in quick sand
