Wow, he's in hallowed company there!

Yesterday took him above Brian Clough, Steve Bull and Ivor Allchurch. He's just about to catch Keith Edwards and Tommy Tynan.

One

Edit: I was born in Swansea, so follow their fortunes as my second team. TT's first two goals were for Swansea and his very last one for us. They book-ended a fabulously prolific 250 in between, but precious little benefit for DRFC and SCFC

He can also make some decent progress up the all time list for Rovers you would suspect this season.

I thought Billy looked pissed off when he was taken off. I just hope we don’t end up with two frustrated strikers.

Obviously they are both top professionals though and I don’t think there will be issues, but he looked annoyed.

Currently equal 18th with Kit Lawlor and Ronny Walker.

Another 13 would but him equal 8th on 62 with Colin Booth, Colin Douglas and Glyn Snodin

Formatting is impossible in this site, but you've made a valiant effort there Dutch.

We aren't really renown for goalscorers are we?

Actually I'll row back on that. I hadn't realised that both Barnsley and Rotherham's highest all time scorers are way behind Tom Keetley.

That goal per game ratio for Brian Clough is impressive, you have to wonder where he would of ended up without the career ending injury.

Think even that one hit him and went in - remember him hitting the post and crossbar lots

Wow, he's in hallowed company there!

Yesterday took him above Brian Clough, Steve Bull and Ivor Allchurch. He's just about to catch Keith Edwards and Tommy Tynan.
If you look at the top of the list it says the figures are from May 2024, so Billy's 3 league goals this season already put him  =37th alongside Nat Lofthouse !

The list is up to date - yesterday's goal was definitely Billy's 252nd in the league, it seems the date has not been updated with the goals tallies
