Have I missed something, did Man Utd win the Champions League tonight?
The way their fans and players celebrated a pen shoot out against Little Old Donny in a pointless competition was embarrasing.

Why is celebrating your your team winning a game embarrassing?

They didn't win it. They secured a bonus point.

Our average gate will be bigger than what their academy team gets. That’s who we played tonight

Wherever their support comes from we allowed good U21 players to grab a draw we were 3.  1 up and then gave them two goals that should not have happened. They won the extra point aswell and yes celebrated they have beat Barnsley and got a draw against us in bot games they come back from losing positions. No wonder they were excited. Our players have to learn when we are in that position we must not give it away. Grant as said that after the game. But Man Utd U 21 are near enough qualified for the next round as well

They celebrated and bloody good on them.

Tonight was a football match and they won on penalties. Dont give me the crap and it was a draw. I see it has a loss like any cup games that goes to pens.

If we won the pens we would celebrate it like anyone should.

Lets not be bitter.
We were 3-1 up with a strong team on the pitch and let a u21 team come back.

If anyone should be embarresed its us

Our B team drew with their C team
Or some of our  players who should be fighting for a first team start threw a win away. They should have been able to hold on and show they are good enough for the first team

I tended to look at it the other way, that these type of supporters were true fans of the club, paying out to give support to their younger players.
It little like, say Rovers fans turning out to see a reserve game, Rovers through and through and interested in all aspects and playing levels of the club.

Why knock someone for enjoying themselves. At least they weren't knocking seven bells out of somebody or mocking the disabled as we've witnessed in the past.

The Man U fans who turned up last night were probably from Donny, but that was maybe the only chance (out of 2 with a short trip to Barnsley) that they will have all year with the price they charge for tickets. Good luck to them, they can go back to watching Sky now.

Those complaining about Utd fans celebrating their win last night just sounds a little like sour grapes to me

Pretty sure we all celebrated many years ago when our youth team got to a final.

We did but we were playing teams of the same age. Look at the teams that we beat on the way there as well.
