Two yellow cards then red

Leandro Trossard is eligible to play for Arsenal against Leicester as he would have already served his suspension for the Gunners' midweek Carabao Cup clash against Bolton.

Rules state that suspensions from a two-yellow card dismissal can be carried into the next match across all domestic competitions.

Yet when Clifton was sent off he missed yesterdays league game yet we had a EFL Trophy game in midweek??

EFL trophy games aren't classed as first team fixtures since the introduction of U21 sides.

Yet the rules say you have to play a certain amount of First team players
