Bradford Allocation
« on October 10, 2024, 01:59:37 pm by GazLaz »
The initial allocation looks to be about 1000. Will they release more tickets if required?

Normally, if not always, if it says initial allocation, they give you more (if you sell it quickly).

Pardon?

Fixed.

Extra allocation released, behind the goal. Looks like we'll be taking good numbers

That's great news. It'll be good to have Donny fans behind the goal as well as down the side.

I got 5 yesterday in case there weren’t any more. I would rather have been behind the goal although last time there were some right numpties there.

Never like it when it’s a split support. Like Harrogate. Limits the atmosphere.

We have 2 tickets behind the goal but would prefer to be at the side if you wanted to swap 2.

Massive game this now next week.

Bottom tier open if the top sells out?

Of course it is still very early in the season but do you know what?
This is a big game.

Bradford City are one of our main rivals for promotion and we have to look to make a statement in this fixture.

City are favourites to go up every single season.
It’s my local game and I’m surrounded by Bantams fans where I live.

Let’s turn out in numbers and roar the lads on to victory.

Would loved to be behind the goal ,would have made more sense to sell them their first and then at the side ,as you cannot move your tickets or get a refund and move

Two reasons Bradford might have sold them this way.
A packed stand behind the goal would have more effect than packed  fans on the side.
The other thing is that you can buy alcohol in the Midland Road stand but not in the Dallas stand behind the goal. Maybe that will up their profits on the catering side.

It’s not atmosphere related. The bigger followings get all of the stand behind the goal I think.

We usually fill that stand Gaz and are second in the table. It could be that it is more cost affective to have fewer to cope with behind the goal than scattered across two blocks in the Midland Rd. stand and a full Dallas stand.

If Leeds, Sheff Wed, Sheff U were playing at VP they would be put behind the goal wouldn’t they?

There's 3 more blocks to open up in the top tier. I make it about 1500 sold so far.

Good pricing, hour away, decent team now add to the fact they're only a point behind. Should be a cracker. Probably be 20k there ISH in total

I was hoping they'd only sold one of the behind the goal blocks as opposed to that being the last, I haven't got mine yet.

You would imagine that many of those behind the goal are going to be those without points and hence not regular attendees. Likely equally that a good portion of them are going to be lads looking for a good day out. Should be fairly lively in there.

Behind the goal doesn't serve beer due to being in view of the pitch. I've never actually bothered with the train for this one but am, is it a good day out?

Have people received their tickets? I ordered mine as soon as they went on sale and not received them them yet. Rang the TO and was told to wait.

Yes I've got mine.
Ordered on Oct 9th and received it two days later.
