Fresh legs and change of formation have given us more urgency.

Chance for Billy, more difficult than it looked as keeper missed a cross

Is Sharp losing his touch? Another open goal missed.

No-one expected the cross to get past the keeper, he had no time to adjust

Why oh why do we start to play after going behind we could have been out of sight in the first half

Change of shape and personnel changed the match

1-1. Should have won that one on the balance of play. A point is ok given other results. Much better second half.

Probably should of won that in the end. The 2 chances for hurst which was blazed over and sharps from 4yds out which headed over.

Cant have that. Billy was shaping up for the header before the keeper missed it. 4yds out and he headed it over. It probably would of gone in if he just stood there and it bounced off him.

Maybe. Perhaps I am being a little generous.

Decent game. Crewe defended exceptionally well and had us completely worked out, forcing us to play a lot of sideways and backwards passing, rather than those cutting one twos of last week. They were slick with the ball and got what they came for a breakaway goal, and a good one. Couldn’t see us scoring at all.
Then we did a Crewe on Crewe with a breakaway with fast smart passes and a good finish.
The changes then seemed to upset Crewe’s rigid plan, and in the end we should have won it.

Billy offside as he nets a rebound from Gibson freekick against bar (was great save from keeper)

Didn’t realise the keeper got a touch to it, if he did Billy can’t be offside

Just watched it. I would be pretty sure the keeper got a hand and pushed it onto the bar

Grant in his interview says keeper got a nick on the cross, so Billy indeed didn't have time to adjust

In real time from the south stand I thought the keeper touched the ball onto the bar.
Billy was definitely in an offside position when Gibson struck the free kick but with all the rule changes I don’t know whether the touch by the keeper makes him offside afterwards.
The missed header by Billy just before the end looks to me like the keeper got the faintest of touches but just enough to put Billy off.
Hurst really ought to have scored that chance he put over the bar.
A really good game though and I enjoyed it.
Crewe are a good side and well organised and I expect them to be up there with us at the end of the season.
We were the better side in the first half and I had it evens after the break.
The ref was pretty good to which helped my enjoyment of the game.

I thought that was a decent game.  A little bit more accuracy when we were finishing strongly and it would be a great 3 points.  Crewe looked organised and disciplined, but they didn’t threaten too much did they.?

A draw is always a decent result when coming from behind..

Not sure about the sponsors MotM.?  I thought or CB pair did very well, the only weakness in our defence coming when they scored..
