Billy will not want to see that header over the bar again...great cross from Gibson to set it up.
That's a shocker , Ironside would have got slaughtered on here for that

Alan if you can’t tell he was offside by the replay I think you need to go to specsavers.

Looking at it again, I think the keeper might have got the slightest touch which made enough difference to deviate away from the full meat of Billy's forehead.

Good game, two decent teams, not many mistakes made and one we finished the stronger after going behind. Good performance overall looking far more in control. Hopefully, the last three games shows we're building some consistency.

Even though I thought Billy was poor today, that was in no way a sitter. Sure it hit his head a few yard out, but he’s got no vision of that ball coming to him. There were players expected to get that before him. Very difficult. If you’ve played the game you’ll know that already.

When the free kick is taken, yes Billy goes forward but so does the Crewe player to his right, which isn’t clear from the highlights.
Oh, and I go to Specsavers regularly for check up’s!

Comfortably offside, clear when pausing the video on Gibsons contact.

In his interview Grant says the keeper got a nick on the cross

The slow and deliberate build up really hampered us today. They set themselves up and we didn't have the movement up front to break them down, resulting in more lateral and backwards passes to start again.

It would of been good to see us mix it up once in a while, when we did break quickly with quick passes we scored!

We need to be braver and take on the more difficult through balls, when we do this it makes the opposition think twice and gains you that extra yard of room.

It doesn’t help either when Moly gets two defenders on him in the final third and that is happening every week now.

Well offside, wasnt even close. That should not happen from a set piece. Not that clear anyway

The keeper touches it onto the bar, does that make Billy onside in the second phase

Keeper flapped at it and missed it. The ball didnt even move slightly during the cross and with the pace it was played in at if the keeper got a nick it would of been evident. Billy got a good connection but mis timed it which put it over.

Grant will say the keeper touched it to stick up for billy slightly. He isnt gonna say that he missed a glaring opurtunity to the cameras and risk upsetting the fana favourite

Nobody is mentioning the trip on one of our players in the area our vid team said a certain pen, I said straight away a pen as I saw it and ref in a good position.

The laws of the game clearly state no penalties will be awarded against Crewe at the Ecopower

In the second half we attacked down the left and our player was clearly tripped as he went past the defender, and the defender would have probably had to be sent off if given, sometimes the reason the ref bottles it in tight games.
I sit in front of the camera and said that's a pen, nobody else made a comment then the analysing team said yes a clear penalty.
The ref had a clear view of it and waved it away.

Yes, I thought Flaming had his legs taken from under him. Seemed quite clear to me but then of course, you question yourself when the ref plays on. Fleming was quite certain the way he came over to the touchline. I don't know why he was having a go at the other linesman. Maybe he thought he was the fourth official.

Yes, overall he was good and it was probably one of the easier games to ref as both sides played football for the most part with very little play acting, clean fair aerial challenges etc. Same with the assistants who kept up with play making the right calls.

Absolute shocker from broadbent for their goal.
He just lazily jogs back near their player, then throws his arms up in disgust when he scores.
He was the best placed player to put a tackle in !
Just pure laziness, and it happened a few times during the match.

Needs dropping, he was just a passenger and offered nothing.
